受到逐漸靠近的熱帶性低氣壓影響，台灣附近水氣增多，預計今晚開始北部及東北部地區會有明顯雨勢。中央氣象局下午針對新北、基隆等10縣市發布大雨特報，現在更將高雄市、屏東縣升級為豪雨特報，請注意雷擊、強陣風及溪水暴漲，低窪處慎防積水。
由於熱帶性低氣壓影響，氣象局稍早將高雄市、屏東縣升級豪雨特報，新北市、基隆市、宜蘭縣、台中市、南投縣、雲林縣、嘉義縣、台南市等8縣市維持大雨特報。氣象局表示，今天屏東及高雄地區有局部豪雨的機率，台南地區、宜蘭及南投地區、中部山區、新北山區及基隆北海岸有局部大雨發生的機率。
氣象局指出，今晚開始北部及東北部地區會出現明顯雨勢，且再加上台灣正位於低壓帶中，午後雷陣雨會較明顯，明後2天更不排除會有大雨出現；預計到下周二（16日）前除了要留意午後局部短暫雷陣雨外，東半部地區其他時間也會有局部短暫陣雨或雷雨，中南部地區則是從周五（12日）開始整天都可能有雨。
